The purpose of this painting was not to portray a hidden female figure.
Rather, the intent was to bring into reality the emergent visual depiction of the process in the artist's mind as they paint. To give that evolving creative process visible form, and then allow the viewer to interpret the resultant art.
Jackson Pollock's process of understanding and shaping his artwork as it emerged was an inspiration. A few images were provided to act as a color palette reference, but the piece is original and from the artist's perspective alone.
